Early Warning Launches Military Advisory for the Entertainment Industry

April 3, 2017 (Fredericton, New Brunswick) — Early Warning Entertainment, the independent game developer, today announced the launch of its new military technical advisory business. The same team of veterans and currently serving military members that give the Company an edge in developing its military-themed Atrocity game franchise, will now be available to the entertainment industry on a consultancy basis.

“Our vision is to provide a level of realism and authenticity that is often lacking in the industry,” said Mark Wheeler, Early Warning CEO and Chief Military Advisor. “Our military advisors generally have well over a decade of service, multiple deployments and a level of seniority that puts us in a unique position to deliver.”

Early Warning, which is veteran operated, originally assembled its own in-house team of military advisors to assist in the development of its video games, the first of which will be available in 2018. It counts veterans even among its game writers and artists.

With a career spanning 25 years as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Mr. Wheeler has extensive experience in both military leadership and combat. He began his military career during the waning days of the Cold War and has been deployed in a number of international conflicts, including multiple tours in the Balkans and Afghanistan.
