Early Warning artist, Dave Desjardins, just wrapped up another tough week of training with Team Canada in preparation for the 2017 Invictus games. The athletes trained in 32 C and put their all into leveling personal barriers.

“Personal limits are a self-imposed mental barrier, and once you realize that, there’s nothing in the way to stop you from achieving more – better, further, faster. In just two days I’ve beaten my own personal  records in both shot put and discus, which is huge on a moral level.”

Dave reports that the wheelchair basketball team, of which he is the team mentor, really came together during the past week. “I think we’re in a great place to continue improving as individuals until pre-game practice in Toronto.”

The Invictus Games will take place in Toronto from 23-27 September. Tickets are now on sale at http://www.invictusgames2017.com
